As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Scout in Santa Clara, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a leading tech location as an unarmed patrol officer in a driving post, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this dynamic role, you will support daily operations with integrity, teamwork, and a people-first approach while adapting to the needs of an innovative environment.

Pay Rate: $29.30 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to all persons at the location while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through proper channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, lobbies, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials for employees, visitors, and contractors in accordance with site protocols for a technology-focused location.
• Support day-to-day operations by communicating with site contacts, assisting with directions and visitor inquiries, and completing required activity and incident reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
