Department's Website: Key Responsibilities Clinical Care: Assess and treat minor illnesses and injuries, administer medications, provide first aid and emergency response, maintain confidential medical records, coordinate referrals, and assist students in navigating healthcare resources. Health Education & Wellness: Lead campus-wide health education initiatives, screenings, prevention programs, and nationally recognized health awareness campaigns. Collaboration & Partnerships: Work closely with Counseling Services, Residence Life, Athletics, University Police, Academic Affairs, and community healthcare providers to support student wellbeing. Crisis Response & Safety: Participate in campus emergency response, serve on the Behavior Intervention Team (BIT), and assist with student case management during health or emotional crises. Public Health & Compliance: Coordinate communicable disease monitoring, COVID and other public health protocols, emergency preparedness, and compliance with state and federal health regulations. Administrative & Operational Support: Assist with clinic operations, infection control, supply inventory, AED and opioid overdose prevention programs, staff training, reporting requirements, and Workers' Compensation cases.
