Role: Cloud Infrastructure DevOps Engineer IV Location: Seattle, WA/Cupertino, CA (Can work remote, must come onsite for interview) Duration: 9 +Months Team supports a range of Machine Learning platform products including: Bolt, Hub, Lightning and many Data Platform systems. The team is lean, building and operating multiple services to internal customers. Critical objectives within the team are related to each and every service: high uptime/zero downtime (availability), efficiently scaled (up to 1000 requests per second) and performance (sub-second latency) for our customers. Required Skills: Overall 7-10 years of experience 3-5 years experience with Kubernetes 3-5 years experience with AWS 3-5 years experience in Database administration: Postgres, RDS (eg. Aurora) 3 years experience in Python Operational Experience with cloud-based service infrastructure (DNS, loadbalancing, ingress, telemetry and logging) Role & Responsibilities: Manage Kubernetes clusters by performing improvements and regular maintenance. Perform cloud infrastructure operational tasks. Perform Database administration tasks including migration, instrumenting of telemetry, performance monitoring, cost monitoring and consolidation. CI/CD-focused projects that include implementing features for GitOps + software lifecycle tooling and processes. Top Skills: Kubernetes (configuration, operations, deployment) and related technologies: Helm, ArgoCD, GitOps SQL database administration Python + Bash scripting Years of experience 5+ years
