Specifically, we are looking for aTS/SCI cleared Finance Analyst - SME to support this mission at Tampa, FL.

Responsibilities:

As a Finance Analyst - SME you will provide technical and management leadership for all equipment and information support functions across the Task Order. Your responsibilities include:

    Provides technical/management leadership in Financial Resource Management, Expenditure Monitoring, Financial Reporting & Forecasting, and Cost Analysis, including application of in support of zero-based and performance-based budgeting methodologies. Establishes goals and plans that meet project objectives. Recognized as an industry leader with domain expertise. May supervise others.
  • Provides technical/management leadership in establishing strategic goals and plans for all fiscal oversight and strategic financial analysis pertaining to Task Order's C2ISR Transport Infrastructure programs and initiatives, including development of templates (e.g., Spend Plan/POA&M justification).
  • Has domain and expert technical knowledge in government acquisition finance, cost evaluation, contract expenditure analysis, and resource optimization within a complex DoD program context.
  • Directs and controls the development, maintenance, tracking, and management of all financial resources for the entire Acquisition and Program Management Support task area.
  • Establishes methodologies for monitoring contract expenditures and analyzing cost performance across all program elements, ensuring that data-driven decisions effectively optimize resource allocation for the command.
  • Architects the preparation of all financial reports, comprehensive spend plans, and detailed cost projections to enable informed decision-making by Government POCs and senior management.
  • Leads the cost evaluation of all vendor proposals for acquisition support, ensuring cost efficiency and compliance with Federal acquisition regulations, and conducting reviews of vendor proposals to ensure technical and cost evaluation.
  • Interacts with client negotiations and interfaces with senior management (e.g., AAS CO, Command TPOC) on high-level financial strategies, resource allocation opportunities, and the financial implications of program governance and acquisitions management.
  • Oversees the identification of potential cost efficiencies, budget variances, and resource allocation opportunities, providing strategic recommendations that optimize resource allocation and ensure long-term program sustainability.
  • Plays a critical role in advising program leaders on data-driven financial decisions and maintaining full accountability for acquired items through strategic financial tracking.
  • Role Specific Tools: Financial forecasting dashboards; CLIN/PRD level cost projection and spend plan trackers; G Invoicing integrated budget tracking systems; Excel/Power BI models for monthly forecasting; subcontractor cost allocation trackers; PMP financial inputs; audit templates for Section F compliance. Financial systems (CCAR/FEM, DEAMS)
  • Leads Task Area 2.3 transition Activities, supporting the Task Order Program Manager and Transition Manager in planning, managing, and monitoring Knowledge Transfer (KT) during transition in accordance with the Peraton Transition Methodology (PTM): supports task planning by reporting on project schedules and deliverables; updates the Transition Performance Dashboard (TPD) for AAS and command review; manages, coordinates, and facilitates the start-up and transition schedule in coordination with the Transition Manager; monitors individual project schedules and provides updates to the IMS; and reports status, progress, forecasts, and risks/issues to critical path to the Transition Manager.


Qualifications

Required qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a Finance Analyst or similar role supporting a DoD customer at the CCMD level;
  • Minimum of 12 years' experience with a BS/BA or 10 years' experience with an MS/MA or 7 years' experience with a PhD. or 16 years experience W/o A degree or 14 years experience with AS/AA Degree
  • A current, active DoD security clearance at the TS/SCI level
  • US citizenship is required

Work Environment:

  • Location:Tampa FL
  • On-site expectations: Full-time on-site presence required for equipment management and asset tracking
  • Travel:May require occasional travel to CONUS and OCONUS sites for logistics coordination and facility assessments

Target Salary Range

$104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
