Description

Markon is seeking a Security Administrator to support an Intelligence Community customer. This role provides personnel security and access control support to the Customer's Area Security Team, ensuring effective administration of clearance verification, visitor access, and security processes. The selected candidate will maintain security records, support compliance with established policies, and serve as a key resource for resolving security-related inquiries in a fast-paced, mission-focused environment.


Responsibilities

    Support the Customer's Area Security Team in administering personnel security, visitor access, and clearance management requirements.
  • Initiate, track, and maintain security actions, including updates within customer security systems and databases.
  • Verify, maintain, and facilitate personnel clearance information in authorized systems.
  • Process and manage building access requests, visitor certifications, and clearance verifications in accordance with established protocols.
  • Maintain accurate security records and documentation, ensuring compliance with customer security standards.
  • Ensure vendors and project teams are informed of security policies, reporting requirements, processes, and compliance actions.
  • Respond to inquiries and provide guidance on security processes, timelines, and issue resolution.
  • Process additional security-related requests, including worker vetting, access control actions, and operational security requirements.
  • Provide surge support for construction and project-related security matters, as needed.
  • Ensure personnel are apprised of security updates, procedures, and requirements.
  • Support compliance with applicable security regulations and policies while safeguarding sensitive information.


Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph (FSP) required.
  • Bachelor's degree in any field.
    • A high school, vocational, or trade school diploma plus 5 years of relevant experience may be substituted.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in security administration supporting the U.S. Government.
  • Experience managing personnel security, clearance verification, and access control processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong customer service experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain accurate records in a fast-paced environment.


Salary Range

USD $100,000.00 - USD $115,000.00 /Yr.

The Markon pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
