Responsibilities

The Treasury Management Inside Consultant is responsible for generating new revenue and developing full-service TM relationships with new and existing clients in an assigned segment. They participate in joint portfolio management with Community Banking Center Managers, Treasury Management Consultants, Commercial Relationship Managers, and/or other referral partners. The Treasury Management Inside Consultant optimizes opportunities through deal teams and sales calls as well as provides support for TM sales activities through preparation of presentations, bids/ proposals, and requests for information. Sales activities are primarily through phone calls, video conferencing and email.

Salary Range

The salary range for this position is $62,300/Yr. - $122,400/Yr.. Final compensation will be determined by location, skills, experience, qualifications and the career level at which the position is filled.

Key Accountabilities

    Independently solicit and develop client / prospect relationships primarily within the Community banking channel providing support to Small Business Relationship Managers, and Banking Center Team members.
  • Focus on sales and support of TM products and services. Maintain client portfolio and manage to retention, needs satisfaction, portfolio growth and other sales objectives stated by business plan.
  • Quarterback the on-boarding of new and current TM clients and communicate the progress to the relationship team.
  • Provide effective cross selling and referral activities.
  • Provide an in-depth working knowledge of all TM products and services, including the technical products. Demonstrate that knowledge by consulting with and presenting solutions to clients and prospects typically via outbound phone and video conference calls.
  • Coordinate client and implementation follow-up with RMs, Treasury Management Analysts, Product Management, and Customer Care. Be constantly aware and take appropriate action with the referring business queue, and operational support areas.
  • Actively participate in the sales planning process and serve as the TM SME for the teams.
  • Remain current on new developments in the Treasury Management marketplace.

Qualifications and Education

  • A bachelor's degree is preferred or H.S. diploma/GED with equivalent experience
  • 1-5 years of banking experience preferred with experience / knowledge of Treasury Management products in a sales, service, and/or support capacity.
  • Greatinterpersonal skills
  • Strong sales aptitude and sales drive are required.
  • Ability to work with multiple clients simultaneously, managing time in a fast-paced environment and applicable resources to ensure work is completed efficiently and within established timeframes; manage projects efficiently and effectively.
  • Fluent with Microsoft Office programs, and Salesforce as well as unique Treasury Management software/system knowledge, ONB's system is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop strong working relationships with clients and internal partners.
  • Occasional travel to other branch or meeting locations within assigned territory
  • Strong analytical ability required including detail orientation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage matters that may have additional complexity or uncertainty, and adapt to new and different circumstances, including supporting different internal Sales Consultants, new or existing clients and/or other internal partners with different work styles.
  • Ability to work well with others in a collaborative environment as well as the ability to work independently with little supervision or day-to-day guidance.
  • Demonstrated ability to grow and develop and/or manage (retain) an assigned (or segment) client portfolio.

Key Measures of Success/Key Deliverables:

  • Achieve annual new sales revenue goals based on the sale of Treasury Management products and services to new and existing clients. Maintain and grow existing segment or assigned Treasury Management and deposit portfolio through client retention and deepening existing relationships with the addition of the right products and services.
  • Achieve overall Treasury Management revenue for the individual's target portfolio size (growth) as of year-end.
