This position is part of the Enterprise Project Portfolio Management team, partnering with portfolio and planning teams across the enterprise to drive effective planning and prioritization of project work aligned to strategic goals. The team also plays a key role in advancing maturity, consistency, and standards across enterprise planning, prioritization, and governance processes.

In this flex office/home role, you will be expected to work a minimum of 10 days per month from Madison, WI.

Position Compensation Range:

$99,000.00 - $167,000.00

Compensation may vary based on the job level and your geographic work location. Relocation support is offered for eligible candidates.

Primary Accountabilities

  • Assists business divisions and department planning leads in identifying and gathering appropriate internal data and information to support the planning process for technology projects including initiative planning and prioritization.
  • Facilitates portfolio sync meetings, and provides oversight for tracking, monitoring, and reporting of progress towards strategic goals via alignment and reporting.
  • Implements standards and controls across planning teams.
  • Establish and document enterprise planning and prioritization processes.
  • Facilitate discussions with planning teams across the enterprise to gather feedback to facilitate process improvement and inform new planning capabilities
  • Supports portfolio management tools (Targetprocess and JIRA) and works with technology organization to ensure alignment with software delivery lifecycle
  • Works closely with finance to incorporate CBA's and financial metrics into the planning and prioritization process.
  • Facilitates sessions across planning teams to get ready for monthly governance sessions
  • Develop PowerPoint presentations to support governance with senior leadership

Specialized Knowledge and Skills Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support or service.

  • Extensive experience with project/program and portfolio management tools, methods and practices.

  • Demonstrated experience effectively communicating with senior leaders

  • Demonstrated experience with budget, metrics and other operational analyses.

  • Strong working knowledge of JIRA, Agile methodology, software development lifecycle and SAFe Framework

  • Solid knowledge and understanding of operational and strategic planning.

    Travel Requirements
    * Up to 10%.

    Physical Requirements
    * Work that primarily involves sitting/standing.
