Receiving Clerk in Mojave, CA

Starting Pay: $24.25

As a Receiving Clerk, you will be a crucial part of our operations, ensuring that a quality product is available to our customers when they need them. Your work will directly affect people's lives!

• Complete safety check at the start of your shift on material handling equipment and maintain according to sop and manuals.

• Work with various functions of the operations team to ensure critical receipts are prioritized and entered in a timely manner.

• Coordinating with purchasing department regarding discrepancies between ordered, received and damaged goods.

• Inspecting delivered items for damage, accuracy, and completeness against purchase orders and packing slips.

• Thoroughly check and sign off receiving documents: Verify packages according to order and invoices (quantity, quality, etc.)

• Receive, sort and distribute incoming packages to admin and lab departments.

• Utilizing warehouse management system software QAD to accurately record received inventory, updating stock levels in real-time.

• Maintaining daily log for receiving activities and transactions.

• Comply with all safety regulations outlined by company.

• Provide support of running department metrics; and communicating gaps

• Assist in development and revision of procedures / work instructions for key functions.

• Perform additional duties as required and or requested.

• Provides additional backup support for receiving department.

• Follow company policies and procedures for processing documents for shipping domestic and international shipments.

• Participates in daily housekeeping/5S activities to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.

• High attention to detail

• Proficient in computer applications such as MS Word, Excel and Access

• Analytical abilities and aptitude in problem-solving

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Ability to multi-task.

• Minimum 2-year related work experience in fast paced, high pressure environment.

• Flexibility Some weekends and extended hours required.
