Harkcon in its support to the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) is seeking a highly qualified SharePoint Developer to support enterprise data management, collaboration platforms, and mission-critical operations.

This position plays a key role in supporting the Acquisitions & Funds Management Branch (AFMB) and other OST divisions by designing, developing, and maintaining SharePoint environments that enable real-time coordination, reporting, and compliance with federal directives.

Key Responsibilities

SharePoint Development & Architecture

  • Design, develop, and maintain SharePoint environments aligned with federal requirements
  • Establish and manage test environments prior to production deployment
  • Develop SharePoint-based solutions including dashboards, workflows, and reporting tools

Data Management & Migration

  • Migrate data across platforms and structure repositories using metadata best practices
  • Maintain electronic document libraries for real-time access and reporting
  • Ensure compliance with federal records management policies

System Administration & Configuration

  • Manage SharePoint portals, architecture, and repositories
  • Implement configuration control procedures across environments
  • Support repository lifecycle management (branching, merging, archiving)

Stakeholder Support & Training

  • Collaborate with federal staff, SMEs, and IT teams
  • Provide user training and technical support
  • Troubleshoot system and integration issues

Innovation & Continuous Improvement

  • Recommend enhancements and emerging technologies
  • Support modernization and system optimization efforts

Quality & Compliance

  • Develop and maintain a Quality Control (QC) program
  • Deliver monthly and annual QC reporting
  • Address government feedback within required timelines
  • Follow established communication and escalation protocols

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of SharePoint development/administration experience
  • Experience with:
    • SharePoint Online and/or On-Prem
    • Data migration and metadata structuring
    • Workflow automation and reporting tools
  • Strong knowledge of SDLC and configuration management
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to obtain / maintain a DOE L clearance (DOD S equiv)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Federal government experience (DOE/NNSA highly desirable)
  • Knowledge of records management compliance
  • Experience with enterprise reporting tools
  • Background in multi-site or mission-critical environments

Work Environment

  • On-site presence required with approved situational telework
  • Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM or 06:30 AM- 3:30 PM
  • Must maintain communication with Program Manager and federal leadership
  • Dynamic, fast-paced federal program environment
