Develop, own, and execute the national Account Development Plan (ADP), including relationship matrix, prioritized opportunities, investment requirements, and P&L projections aligned with budget.
  • Ensure U.S. account strategy aligns with broader global account objectives, where applicable, collaborating with global and regional stakeholders to support integrated solutions.
  • Identify, qualify, develop, win, and onboard new business opportunities in line with the ADP and the customer's short- and long-term supply chain strategy.

Customer Leadership & Relationship Management

  • Serve as the senior U.S.-based point of contact for the Key Account, building trusted relationships with key customer stakeholders, including senior and executive-level contacts.
  • Represent Yusen Logistics Americas in customer discussions that require cross-border or global coordination, ensuring alignment of messaging, service approach, and value proposition.

  • Collaborate closely with Global Headquarters (GHQ), OpCos, and overseas Yusen Logistics teams to support account development, solution design, and customer initiatives that extend beyond the U.S.
  • Act as a central coordination point between U.S. branches and global stakeholders to ensure consistent execution, governance, and customer experience.
  • Share customer insights, growth opportunities, and industry intelligence with global stakeholders to support broader account visibility and alignment.

National Network and Multi-Branch Leadership

  • Lead a virtual, cross-functional national account team consisting of branch operations, product, finance, and management stakeholders across the U.S.
  • Drive alignment, accountability, and engagement across all involved branches to deliver against the ADP.
  • Serve as the escalation point for complex commercial or operational challenges requiring coordination across multiple branches or regions.

Operational Excellence and Performance Management

  • Monitor, enhance, and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across all supporting U.S. branch locations.
  • Proactively analyze operational trends, KPIs, and exceptions, using data and insights to recommend service improvements and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Oversee the preparation, validation, and distribution of operational and performance reporting to customers and internal stakeholders.

Insight, Growth & Continuous Improvement

  • Drive the systematic collection, analysis, and application of customer, operational, and industry insights at both the national and global level.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation, supply chain optimization, and value-added solutions that strengthen the customer partnership.
  • Align account initiatives with logistics and supply chain industry trends and Yusen Logistics' strategic priorities.

Qualifications
