JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Demonstrated experience preparing, reviewing, and filing indirect tax returns, including sales and use tax, excise tax, gross receipts tax, and other transactionbased taxes, with a strong focus on accuracy and timeliness.
  • Working knowledge of indirect tax compliance, including monitoring tax law changes, supporting audits, serving as a primary tax contact, and performing corporate tax depreciation calculations.
  • Proven ability to prepare recurring financial and regulatory reports for banks, lenders, Caterpillar, and other stakeholders, including quarterly bank packages, borrowing base reports, and Dealer Financial Reports (DFRS).
  • Experience supporting complex financial and Project CFO reporting through reconciliations, schedules, certifications, and detailed analysis.
  • Strong reconciliation and control experience, ensuring reported balances tie to the general ledger, maintaining auditready documentation, and responding to auditor or regulator inquiries.
  • Advanced analytical, documentation, and communication skills, with strong Excel proficiency, ERP experience, and familiarity with financial reporting tools (e.g., Vena).

RECOMMENDED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
  • 3-5 years of experience in indirect tax, accounting, or financial reporting.
  • Experience with audits, regulatory filings, or lender reporting preferred.
  • Knowledge of general business and accounting practices
  • Excellent communication organizational and interpersonal skills: both verbal and written.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong computer skills and experience with Microsoft platforms. \
