• Position: Vascular Tech

• Location: Glenbrook Hospital

• Full Time

• Hours: 7a - 5:30p M-Sat with rotating Call (wkday PMs and Sundays) wkend, and holiday schedules.

What will I do:

According to established policies and procedures, conducts various non-invasive cardiovascular diagnostic tests; assists physicians in conducting non-invasive cardiovascular tests and corporate physical exams by preparing equipment and patients for exam, monitoring patient's vital signs and EKG data, obtaining specimens and attending to patients' needs. Cleans and prepares a variety of sterile and non-sterile equipment related to examinations. Performs related office duties including preparing test results for report generation, filing, answering telephones, preparing patient charges, and the like.

What you will need:

* Education: Completion of 2-year ultrasound program

* Certification: Certified Vascular Tech, RVT

* Experience: 2+years of clinical experience highly preferred

* Ability to perform vascular imaging independently including arterial venous & carotid imaging (preferred)

* Ability to frequently lift, move, pull and position required. Must be able to assist with occasional heavy lifting of 100+ pounds.
