As a Lead Respiratory Therapist, you'll deliver safe, accurate cardiopulmonary care while supporting the daily operations of the Respiratory Therapy Department. Learn more: https://www.stmarysregional.com What You'll Do As a Lead Respiratory Therapist, you'll play a key role in both patient care and departmental leadership. You'll ensure smooth operations, mentor staff, and serve as a liaison throughout the hospital to promote unified, patientcentered care. Responsibilities include: Serving as a resource for RRTs, CRTs, and Respiratory Therapy Interns Acting as a preceptor and mentor for students and new team members Assisting the Department Director with scheduling, processes, policies, and current practice Facilitating orientation and competency validation for new hires Obtaining and evaluating patient data through chart review and physical assessment Delivering safe, accurate respiratory care to patients with cardiopulmonary difficulties Supporting cohesive communication and collaboration across hospital departments This role is ideal for a clinically strong therapist who thrives in a leadership capacity and is willing to work nights and weekends as needed.
