Job Overview
The Director of Talent Acquisition leads the enterprise Talent Acquisition Center of Excellence (CoE) for Hubbell. The team is responsible for all salaried recruiting across the United States, salaried and hourly recruiting in Mexico and select hourly recruiting needs in the U.S. while providing recruiting tools, process and external partnerships to support all global hiring. This role provides strategic leadership and operational excellence to ensure Hubbell attracts, engages and hires critical talent today and over the long term. Reporting to the Vice President, Talent, Inclusion and Communications, this role leads the enterprise talent acquisition strategy, including multi-year talent attraction planning, recruiting governance, systems, tools, vendor partnerships, talent acquisition operations and recruiting marketing support for all global locations. The Director partners closely with the HR Business Partners (HRBP), Business leaders, and other key stakeholders to ensure consistent recruiting practices, tools and candidate experience across all hiring populations. This position requires a strategic, forward-looking leader who can balance enterprise and local considerations. They should be a strong collaborator, who starts with understanding the business strategy, the needs of various stakeholders, provides subject matter expertise and leads with hands-on execution in a complex, geographically dispersed manufacturing organization while influencing change and adoption.
