General Purpose:

Provide senior leadership and operational oversight of SEMO's repair facilities, associated supply chain functions, and facilities management with direct responsibility for P&L performance. Implement and manage standardized best-practice processes that optimize material flow, enhance repair quality and efficiency, and ensure consistent billing practices across all locations. Establish and track key performance indicators to drive operational performance, cost control, and continuous improvement. Promote a strong culture of safety, compliance, and accountability across all locations.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Provide senior leadership and day-to-day operational oversight for SEMO's repair facilities, facilities management, and associated supply chain functions across all locations.
  • Own and manage full P&L responsibility for repair and facilities operations, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and margin optimization.
  • Develop, implement, and enforce standardized best-practice operating procedures that optimize material flow, improve turnaround times, and enhance repair quality and efficiency.
  • Lead supply chain activities related to repair operations, including sourcing, inventory management, vendor performance, and materials planning to ensure availability and cost efficiency.
  • Establish, track, and regularly report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to quality, productivity, and financial performance; use data to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure consistent and accurate billing practices for repair work across all locations through standardized processes.
  • Oversee facilities management functions, including maintenance planning, capital improvements, space utilization, and facility safety standards.
  • Promote a strong culture of safety, regulatory compliance, and environmental stewardship, ensuring adherence to all applicable policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify operational risks and implement mitigation strategies to protect people, assets, and financial performance.
  • Support strategic planning initiatives by providing operational insight, performance data, and recommendations for growth, investment, and efficiency opportunities.
  • Lead the development and enforcement of best practices standards that effectively execute the strategic plan to increase repair volume, improve profitability, and expand the competitive position of the repair business while supporting broader company objectives.
  • Execute identified growth opportunities within the repair segment of the business, including service expansion, capacity optimization, new offerings, pricing strategies, and market or customer development initiatives.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop management teams, fostering accountability, performance excellence, and succession readiness.
  • Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives.

Travel:

15%-25% (1-2 times per quarter)

Education and Experience:



  • High school diploma or equivalent; undergraduate degree in supply chain management, logistics and transportation, finance, business administration, or related curriculum preferred
  • 12 or more years' progressive professional experience with significant financial responsibility; experience managing multiple locations preferred
  • 4 or more years of people management experience that includes leading senior managers and multiple departments
  • Proven track record of improved results in the areas of compliance, quality, safety, service and cost
  • Experience with continuous improvement methodologies
  • Certification and/or License - may be required during course of employment

  • Effective problem analysis and problem resolution at both the strategic and functional levels
  • Solid mechanical skills with the ability to apply experience to a variety of applications
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and an aptitude to learn other software and/or ERP systems
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English
