Overview
Microsoft's Corporate, External and Legal Affairs (CELA) organization is seeking an experienced attorney to join the Marketing CELA team as a Principal Corporate Counsel supporting AI Business Solutions (ABS) and Security Marketing. This role serves as a strategic legal advisor to senior marketing and business planning leaders, providing guidance on high-impact business initiatives and monetization strategies across Microsoft's AI and Security portfolio. More specifically, this role maps to to the Microsoft business planning leaders who develop business models, pricing, licensing, packaging, and go-to-market strategy for these product lines, and are responsible for the company's commercial licensing programs. You will partner closely with business planning, marketing, and product stakeholders to support global campaigns, monetization strategies, pricing, and other marketing initiatives, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and Microsoft policies while enabling innovation and growth. #CELA Legal Counsel IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $132,200 - $232,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $165,800 - $248,600 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
