JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the Transportation Department, including supervision of dispatching supervisors, drivers, and fleet assets (trucks and trailers).
- Coordinate and oversee all equipment moves supporting Foley Rents, construction division sales, service operations, and heavy rental needs.
- Ensure accurate and timely invoicing of all internal and external transportation hauls.
- Develop, track, and maintain centralized transportation and trucking KPIs to drive performance and cost control.
- Enforce high standards of professionalism, safety, and conduct across all transportation department personnel.
- Ensure full compliance with DOT regulations, including Hours of Service, Daily Vehicle Inspection Reports, permitting, and related requirements.
- Oversee the ordering, maintenance, utilization, and disposal of the truck and trailer fleet to meet internal and external customer requirements.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, outside sales representatives, and customers to communicate delivery schedules and transportation timelines.
- Provide transportation quotes as needed to support sales efforts and customer inquiries.
- Monitor and manage transportation costs, supporting departmental P&L responsibilities.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support evolving business needs and professional development.
RECOMMENDED QUALIFICATIONS:

- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 5-10 years of experience in the service-related industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; both verbal and written.
- Take initiative in problem-solving and continuous improvement
- Prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to adjust to changing priorities and business needs.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, Excel, Word.
