As an Armed Security Officer for a busy retail location, you will patrol assigned areas by vehicle and on foot, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. This driving and armed post calls for strong communication, professionalism, and quick response while supporting daily operations. Pay Rate: $15.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities at a busy retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observations and actions taken.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the store, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or policy concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help support loss prevention efforts, observe for suspicious behavior, and report security-related issues to management and/or local law enforcement when appropriate.
• Assist with de-escalation, crowd management, and/or after-hours checks while maintaining a professional presence in changing retail environment conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Level III Armed Guard is required.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
