Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for guiding a remote group of employees as they complete a project and encourage team collaboration.
  • Use technical knowledge to help team members develop creative solutions for design driven projects.
  • Provide training for new hires or internal transfer in CET Configura, AutoCAD, 20/20, and product training.
  • Allocate tasks, set priorities, and communicate project deadlines to team members.
  • Lead the implementation and documentation of internal processes and procedures to improve onboarding and team efficiency.
  • Provide project support as needed, including checking, specifying, and handling special project tasks.
  • Serve as backup to the Team Coordinator for daily task coordination.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve issues to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Keep management informed on team performance, workflow progress, and project status.
  • Works closely with all departments within Global.
  • Provides internal and external support when the Manager is unavailable

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university and six to ten years of related experience and/or training.
  • Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD, CAP, 20/20, and CET Designer.
  • Understanding of corporate, healthcare and education furniture specifications.
  • Must work well in a team environment with strong communication skills.
  • Read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
  • Add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Compute rate, ratio, and percent and draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and various Design software solutions.
  • Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Actual base pay offered will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. At Global, an individual may not be hired at the high end of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate. (If a bonus or commissions see below for additional sentence).

BONUS/COMMISSIONS
