We are seeking a highly skilled and experiencedRelease Management Lead to support the NISSC III contract.ThispersonwillcoordinateEvent Managed Deliveries (EMD) andparticipatein technical and management meetingsfor suchdeliveries.They willwork with stakeholdersandExternal Providers,Government Program leadership and others.Most of the work will take place at the Test and Development Facility(TDF)on Peterson Space Force Base.The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background; excellent communication, leadership, andlogisticsskills; and the ability to manage multiplemissionpriorities simultaneously.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead technicalproject planning sessions thatidentifytasks andprojectmilestones to achieve the selected outcomes/results forContractSustainment Actions and plan application of resources to perform the tasks.

  • Conduct multi-disciplined technical reviews and audits applying guidance from theGovernment and contract leadership.

  • Coordinateand de-conflictresource availability across concurrent contractor activities including Continuous Work, Cadence Managed Deliveries (CMD), and resources supporting External Providersand other site leadership at the TDF.

  • Build,test,demonstratetask perform analysis, requirements definition, design, develop,procure, integrate, test, document, anddemonstratehardware, software, use of cloud hosts, and documentation.

  • Collaborate with each External Provider to prepare, deliver, implement, andmaintainan External Provider Integration and Support Plan for each External Provider.

  • Facilitate External Provider access to and understanding of technical baseline artifacts, mission operations information, systems performance, and OM&S work in-process that is relevantinside the TDF as needed.

  • Purchase andhardware and softwarespecified fortheexternal provider effort and both transport and deliverthose itemsto the identified location in support of the External Provider effort.

  • Support tasks, coordinate, control, andfacilitateintegration activities which include configuration/change management, technical baselinechangemanagement, test and evaluation, systems integration, and deployment of External Provider delivered artifacts.

  • Resolveshighly complexproblems using significant application of technical knowledge, conceptualizing,reasoningand interpretation

  • Requires ability to communicate withsenior customerleadershipregardinginitiatives and solutions for various projects

  • Able to persuade others to accept updated practices/concepts and reach consensus on approaches/strategies

  • Provide leadership and mentoring to other junior team members

  • Other tasking as needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor'sDegree ina related field with 8+ years of relevant experience; Additional experience, training, and/or certifications may substitute degree requirement.

  • US Citizen; Currently possessing an Active DoD Secret clearance with ability to upgrade to TS/SCI upon hire.

  • Expertisewithtwoor more of the following:software development,networking,cyber security,systems engineering,orproject management

  • Anin-depthunderstanding of space base capabilities, orbits,sensorsand ballistic trajectories

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in related field with 6+ years of experience

  • Active DoDSecretclearance

  • Excellent project, technical, interpersonal, presentation and problem management skills

  • Ability to communicate orally, and in writing, detailed technical information on troubleshooting and implementation efforts

  • Basic understanding of Space Based systems, variousorbitsand Catalog Maintenance

  • Familiaritywith common industrystandards andCyber Security tools

  • FamiliaritywithDOD regulations and directives

  • Familiarity with the NISSC program and AF/SF space priorities

  • Current TS/SCI Security Clearance

  • Experience working in a Digital Engineering environment orwithNoMagicCAMEO is a plus.

  • Experience with NISSC or other Air Force programs

Pay Range:Pay Range $107,900.00 - $195,050.00
