Description The Manhattan Strategy Group (MSG) LLC, a rapidly growing management consulting firm, is seeking Program Manager for an upcoming opportunity for the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF). MSG provides consulting services across the federal government in the areas of training and technical assistance, grants management, research and evaluation, marketing and communications, program management, and information technology. Our federal clients include the U.S. Departments of Labor, Education, Health and Human Services, Agriculture, Justice, and Homeland Security. Job Duties/Responsibilities: The Program Manager (PM) serves as the Supervisor for all Contractor personnel working under contract and provides overall program management and oversight to assist the various ATF offices. The PM will work with the ATF to provide competent leadership and responsible project direction through successful performance of a variety of detailed, diverse elements of project management tasks. The PM will direct completion of tasks within estimated timeframes and budget constraints, while interfacing with client counterparts when appropriate. Duties of the Program Manager include, but are not limited to: Plan and coordinate the activities of the assigned Contractor employees. Establish employee schedules and coordinate priorities. Assist in providing replacement personnel. Conduct meetings with Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) and discuss project activities, schedules, workloads, potential problems and their resolutions. Provide oversight and management of all assigned Contractor staff to ensure their duties are accomplished. Such oversight is required as work volume fluctuates and even during work overload situations. Ensuring that Contractor staff has the tools necessary to accomplish their duties independently. Required Qualifications: Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university/college. Work experience may be substituted for the educational requirements with prior approval from ATF. Minimum/General Experience: Prefer more than ten years' recent experience commensurate with the job requirements.
