Salesforce Engineer

Salesforce Engineer, Databricks, Inc., Mountain View, CA. Developing, configuring, and enhancing Salesforce and connected enterprise applications by designing, coding, testing, and implementing technical solutions that advance business operations. Develop and optimizing Apex classes, SOQL queries, REST APIs, ReactJS and JQuery code. Build and configure Salesforce CPQ features such as Product Rules, Pricing Rules, scripts, and Approval Processes. Integrate Salesforce with financial, learning, and GTM systems to ensure interoperability and data integrity. Configure and standardize security and governance settings. Create workflows, triggers, and automation frameworks to streamline processes. Implement full software development life cycle activities, including version control, metadata packaging, deployment, and unit testing. Develop technical specifications, configuration guides, and system documentation. Analyze reporting requirements to design scalable data solutions and dashboards. Drive continuous improvement by recommending and implementing architectural enhancements and adopting emerging Salesforce features. Telecommuting permitted. (DBxCA107)

40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Salary: $ 178,000 - $193,900/yr.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Must have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or a related field, plus 24 months of experience in Data engineering, data platforms or data analytics.

Of the required experience, must have 12 months of experience in 5 or more of the following (which may be gained concurrently):

• Salesforce CPQ in a high-growth environment;
• Salesforce administration and other applications such as financial force, learning management systems;
• Full implementations of Salesforce/Steelbrick CPQ;
• Security and governance (profiles, permission sets, data visibility, sharing settings);
• Life cycle of development including Salesforce Deployment/Packaging using Metadata API, Change Set and code coverage;
• Implementing Salesforce Portal (Community portal), Service Console, Lightning components;
• Salesforce platform concepts and development (Apex & Javascript languages, controllers, triggers, configuration, LWC, Salesforce flows, batch processes, Lightning, SOQL, REST APIs and web services);
• Web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and REST APIs.
