Description

To participate in a remote work arrangement, employees must reside in the United States. No remote work arrangement will be considered for working from outside the United States.

REQUIREMENTS:



  • Minimum degree requirement of an Associate's degree in Paralegal/Legal Studies or a Bachelor's degree with experience in affiliation agreement/contract management, negotiation, or editorial review.
  • 3 years' experience in agreement/contract management, negotiation, or editorial review.
  • Proficiency using technology to process agreement/contract review processes.


Compensation is determined based on the qualifications, experience, and circumstances of each hire. It is uncommon for employees to start near the top of the salary range. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including a tuition waiver and reimbursement program, health insurance, paid time off, and a retirement savings plan. The salary range for this position is $68,510 to $92,690

RESPONSIBILITES:



  • Affiliation Agreement Processing

    • Evaluate and negotiate external agreements to assess alignment/risk with university policies and procedures, and applicable regulatory and accreditation requirements.
    • Maintain updates to Herzing University clinical affiliation templates as needed to ensure on-going alignment with stakeholder needs.
    • Execute/Sign clinical affiliation agreements on behalf of the University, as delegated.
    • Ensure records of clinical affiliation agreements are maintained in accordance with university policy and procedures.
    • Process clinical affiliation agreements in a timely manner to reach established goals and key-performance-indicators (KPIs).
    • Collaborate with academic leadership to anticipate upcoming affiliation needs and prioritize agreement processing accordingly.
    • Monitor agreement renewal timelines and coordinates renewals, amendments or terminations as needed.
    • Execute the clinical affiliation agreement process as defined and in platforms prescribed by university policy and procedure.


  • Affiliation Agreement Reporting and Communication

    • Deliver timely, high-quality responses to inquiries with a strong customer service focus.
    • Collaborate with University personnel to ensure clear communication and expectation alignment.
    • Facilitate consistent communication to support alignment in the execution of affiliation agreements.
    • Prepare and deliver reporting updates as prescribed on processing volume and timelines as prescribed by University leadership.
    • Engage with external partners for affiliation agreements as needed to ensure accuracy of updates/changes to affiliation agreements.
    • Provide reporting on the University's clinical affiliation agreement inventory to provide visibility for alignment with the University's clinical acquisition strategy.
    • Identify and escalate potential risks within affiliation agreements, including unfavorable or non-compliant terms.
    • Monitor changes in regulatory or accreditation standards that may impact affiliation agreements or clinical partnerships.
    • Evaluate and recommend clinical affiliation agreement workflow improvements to increase efficiency, transparency, and processing timelines.




Physical Requirements:

* Must be able to remain in a stationary position most of the time.
* Must be able to occasionally move around the work location.
* Must be able to communicate information and ideas so others will understand.
* Constantly operates office and/or teach equipment which may include computers, copiers, fax machines, audio/visuals.
* Frequently uses voice and hearing to communicate with students, staff, or colleagues face-to-face or over the telephone.
* Visually or otherwise identify, observe, and assess.
* Occasionally move, carry, or lift ten pounds.
