What You Will Do:

We are seeking a high-energy, detail-oriented Entry-Level Manufacturing Engineer to join our operations team. In this role, you will be at the heart of our production environment, serving as a key technical resource to ensure our manufacturing lines operate with maximum safety, quality, and efficiency. This is a foundational position designed for an ambitious engineer who thrives in a "hands-on" environment

  • Support the production team in identifying and resolving technical bottlenecks to improve OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness).
  • Assist in the implementation of Lean Manufacturing tools, including 5S, Kaizen events, SMED (Single-Minute Exchange of Die), and Value Stream Mapping.
  • Analyze production data and KPIs to identify trends and propose data-driven solutions for waste reduction and cycle-time improvement.
  • Participate in root-cause analysis (RCA) for equipment failures or process deviations using tools like 5-Whys or Fishbone diagrams.
  • Assist senior engineers in the specification, installation, and commissioning of new manufacturing equipment and automated systems.
  • Provide technical troubleshooting support to the maintenance and operations teams to minimize downtime on high-speed filling lines and processing vessels.
  • Coordinate with external vendors for spare parts procurement and technical service visits.
  • Ensure all manufacturing processes comply with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and L'Oreal quality standards.
  • Develop and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions to ensure consistency and safety across shifts.
  • Collaborate with the Quality department to investigate non-conformances and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Conduct time studies and methods analysis to establish and validate labor standards and production capacities.

What We Are Looking For:

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent experience.
  • 0-3 years of previous experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Past project engineering experience is a plus.
  • Strong Microsoft Office knowledge
  • Must wear all proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Visual/auditory acuity required to operate equipment and see/hear warning alarms.
  • Computer skills, to include experience with spreadsheets, pivot tables, Power BI presentations, graphics software and database management.
  • Experience with SAP a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 4-year college degree in Industrial Engineering or other Business related discipline preferred
