Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Senior Research Specialist for the Institute for Health, Health Care Policy and Aging Research. This role supports quantitative research, training, and infrastructure development for the Geospatial Data Hub housed within the Rutgers Center for Climate, Health and Healthcare.
Among the key duties of the position are the following:
- Serves as an experienced research professional who combines high-level geospatial analytical expertise with independent project leadership responsibilities.
- Supports Rutgers Health staff, students and faculty develop high impact projects to study environmental exposures, extreme weather events, and healthcare sustainability in New Jersey and beyond.
- Contributes to study design, data management and analysis, dissemination of research findings, and coordination of project activities, while exercising independent judgment within established research objectives.

Qualifications
| Minimum Education and Experience |
- Bachelor's degree in a related scientific, public health, social science, or data-centric field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- A minimum of five years of progressively responsible relevant professional research experience.
