As a Security Officer Credential Desk in East Rockaway, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. In this role, you will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by following site-specific access control procedures, verifying credentials, monitoring entry and exit points, and supporting security-related protocols for the location.
• Control access for employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery drivers by checking identification, maintaining visitor logs, issuing passes, and communicating entry requirements and/or restrictions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report conditions, unusual activity, and security-related concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized entry and identify maintenance, operational, and security-related issues.
• Support emergency response activities and follow post orders for manufacturing and industrial operations, including documenting incidents, assisting with traffic flow, and helping to coordinate site access during shift changes and/or special activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
