Job Description

Shift: Night
Schedule: 7 PM - 7 AM; 2/2/3 rotating schedule
Shift Premium Amount: $1.00
Pay Rate: $20.00



Position Summary:
The End of Line Quality Inspector is responsible for performing the quality checks defined for a post-production inspection plan, as a containment action to reduce customer returns. The EOL Quality Inspector will perform the product quality checks at the end of the work center.



Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Inspect the product. Physical and visual checks for finished products to identify products out of specification after the positive release of production (by operator).
  • Use the tools and test methods approved and defined for performing the quality checks.
  • Follow the Inspection plan for the EOL inspection. Sampling inspection ensures all finished pallets are inspected and that more than one layer per pallet.
  • Use the application to record the inspection data, including results and details.
  • Impound the products found not meeting the specifications (failed the inspection) and escalate to the QA Tech and TPL for the RCA as defined.
  • Inspections are defined as being performed in the production area. The EOL Quality Inspector will do the quality checks at the end of the production line (work center) and communicate the result of the audit to the operator.

Qualifications

Required:



  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Manufacturing or quality inspection experience.
  • The operator for the process will be the inspector (Converting, Printing, Laminating, Extrusion)
  • Operator certified, B or A
  • Computer skills (MicrosoftOffice applications)
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Technical and math skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work and communicate effectively with the manufacturing teams.
  • Ability to interpret the drawings and specifications.
