As a Security Officer Site Screener in Kansas City, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a fast-paced tech and telecom location, where you will help monitor entry points, screen visitors and/or employees, and support a professional environment through strong communication and customer service. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Screen people, bags, packages, and/or materials entering designated areas while following post orders, reporting guidelines, and security-related procedures.
• Respond to incidents, screening alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Monitor entry points and assist with credential checks, visitor processing, and/or delivery verification to help support authorized access and help to deter unwanted activity.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, remaining attentive to unusual activity, damaged property, and/or policy concerns in varying working environments and conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
