Midwest Veterinary Supply is seeking an Accounts Specialist for our MVSO (MyVetStoreOnline) online pharmacy platform. This position is fully remote. This position is available for those in the following states: Alabama, California, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and Wisconsin.

The MyVetStoreOnline Accounts Specialist is responsible for fostering and maintaining strong relationships with existing users to ensure their continued satisfaction and engagement with our services and will assist with the development of new retention strategies and marketing opportunities. The MyVetStoreOnline Accounts Specialist is responsible for providing second-tier support to current users via phone, email, forms, and chat. This position will be a team expert for retention of and engagement with MyVetStoreOnline users to support the MyVetStoreOnline Accounts team and across all departments.

Job Responsibilities

  • Review reporting to set routine call schedule with current MyVetStoreOnline users.
  • Provide second-tier support to both current users and onboarding accounts via phone, email, forms, and chat. Responsibilities include updating account data, processing requests, providing resolutions, assisting with credit card processing setup, conducting training webinars, and troubleshooting roadblocks.
  • Collaborate with the MyVetStoreOnline Accounts Lead and the MyVetStoreOnline Accounts Manager on retention strategies and marketing opportunities.
  • Process online store closures following completion of retention efforts.
  • Assist with training and coaching of new and current MyVetStoreOnline Engagement Associates.
  • Document, effectively communicate, and work with the MyVetStoreOnline team to resolve system errors, user problems, and clinic feature requests.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) is required
  • Minimum of one year of customer service or veterinary practice experience required
  • Production Animal experience preferred
  • Experience with sales retention desirable
  • Experience with Windows operating system
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Ability to read, write and speak English
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, employment policies, operating instructions, and procedural manuals
  • Solid customer service skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong technical aptitude to quickly learn new software
  • Focus on continuous learning
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask
  • Ability to type 40+ WPM
  • Ability to work with corporate office to achieve mutual goals
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team

Work is typically performed in an office environment Monday through Friday with the core hours of 8:00am-5:00pm CST. Working more than 40 hours per work week may be required.
