Carter Machinery Company, the authorized Caterpillar dealer serving Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Delaware and Washington D.C. is hiring a Rental Sales Supervisor in
Lynchburg, Virginia. The Rental Sales Supervisor position is responsible for supervising operational areas of the rental store, including inside sales activity, transportation of equipment and maintaining fleet inventory readiness. The individual in this position will also work with the service department supervisors to ensure customers' needs are met at the highest level. Seeking candidates with experience in the Rental Equipment or Construction Service Industry, required; Previous supervisory experience in a service-related industry, preferred; Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent industry experience, preferred.
Requirements for the Rental Sales Supervisor position include:
Physical requirements must be met for the Rental Sales Supervisor job, including regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. Employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
