As an Associate Quality Engineer, you will apply foundational engineering principles to support and improve product quality standards. You will partner with cross-functional teams to analyze quality data, support testing and measurement systems, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts across manufacturing processes.

Our Team

You will be part of a collaborative quality and engineering team focused on ensuring product compliance, reliability, and continuous improvement. Our team supports production by leveraging data-driven insights and structured problem-solving to uphold high standards in alignment with Molex's Aerospace & Defense Solutions (ADS) expectations.

What You Will Do
  • Assist in designing systems to record and analyze product quality levels to ensure adherence to specifications
  • Support development of programs to evaluate the precision and accuracy of production, testing, and measurement equipment
  • Conduct analysis of routine tests and provide recommendations based on findings
  • Participate in material review board (MRB) activities and support disposition decisions
  • Analyze and interpret product quality trends to identify improvement opportunities
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to drive quality improvements
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university
  • 1-7 years of related engineering or quality experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical documents, professional journals, and governmental regulations
  • Experience writing reports, business correspondence, and procedural documentation
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present information to stakeholders and leadership
  • Understanding of advanced mathematical and statistical concepts
What Will Put You Ahead
  • Experience applying statistical analysis and quality engineering principles in a manufacturing environment
  • Familiarity with testing, measurement, and analytical equipment systems
  • Experience working with complex mathematical concepts (e.g., calculus, algebra, differential equations)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and trends
  • Ability to apply scientific reasoning to both practical and theoretical challenges
  • Comfort working with complex variables, formulas, and abstract concepts
