Marketing Department

The marketing team is a global function at Vantage and is responsible for Vantage's brand, identity and positioning in the global marketplace. The department further leads public and analyst relations to ensure constituents are educated on Vantage's products, services and markets. The team partners with sales, new site development, construction, finance, people and culture, public policy, internal communications and other departments to grow market share, acquire and retain customers, expand into new geographies, understand customer sentiment and promote the company as an employer of choice.

Position Overview

This position will be based on-site at our office in Denver, CO. in alignment with our flexible work policy. (3 days on site required, 2 days flexible).

The Director, Marketing Campaigns & Events, North America will lead integrated marketing campaigns that support Vantage's growth across the United States and Canada, with a strong focus on market development, community engagement and stakeholder communications. This role will develop and execute campaigns that communicate the value of Vantage developments to a range of audiences, including community stakeholders, economic development organizations, policymakers, customers and prospective customers.

Working closely with new site development, public policy, sustainability, sales, the global marketing team and regional leadership, this individual will create campaigns that highlight Vantage's impact in local markets, from economic development and job creation to sustainability, innovation and long-term community investment. The role requires a strategic, hands-on campaign leader who can translate complex business and infrastructure topics into clear, compelling narratives and multi-channel programs that support business objectives and strengthen regional reputation.

In addition, the role will oversee all North America events, from tradeshows to customer-focused events.

The ideal candidate is equal parts strategist, builder and operator, with strong experience in campaign development, stakeholder-focused messaging, cross-functional collaboration, performance measurement and event planning in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Job Functions

  • Lead the strategy, development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across North America in support of market growth, site development and regional business priorities.

  • Build campaigns that communicate the value of Vantage developments to external stakeholders, including communities, economic development organizations, policymakers, customers and local partners.

  • Develop audience-specific messaging and campaign strategies around key themes such as economic development, job creation, tax base contribution, sustainability, community investment and innovation.

  • Partner closely with new site development, public policy, sustainability, sales, global marketing and regional leadership to align campaigns with market priorities and business goals.

  • Use research, polling, market intelligence and stakeholder insights to shape campaign strategy, messaging and channel selection.

  • Manage integrated campaign execution across paid, owned earned and shared channels, working with internal teams and external agencies as needed.

  • Develop campaign briefs, message frameworks, content plans, timelines, budgets and KPIs to ensure strong execution and measurable outcomes.

  • Ensure campaigns are tailored to local market dynamics while aligning with Vantage's brand, messaging and global business priorities.

  • Track campaign performance and stakeholder engagement, using insights and analytics to optimize future programming.

  • Manage all North America events, including industry tradeshows and customer events, from planning to budgeting, theming, execution and reporting on effectiveness.

Duties

  • Develop annual and market-specific campaign plans that support North America development priorities and business growth.

  • Create campaign strategies for new market entry, site development, expansion announcements, customer milestones and other strategic business initiatives.

  • Build compelling narratives and content that explain the local and regional benefits of Vantage developments, including economic impact, workforce opportunities, sustainability initiatives and community engagement.

  • Partner with internal subject matter experts to translate complex infrastructure, regulatory and development topics into clear, accessible messaging for external audiences.

  • Oversee the creation of campaign assets across multiple formats and channels, including digital content, presentations, videos, social media, webpages, fact sheets, FAQs and stakeholder materials.

  • Coordinate campaign execution across internal teams and agency partners to ensure message consistency, quality and timeliness.

  • Support market-specific stakeholder outreach efforts with marketing materials and messaging tailored to local needs and priorities.

  • Monitor campaign performance, audience response and market dynamics to refine strategy and improve results over time.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or related field, or equivalent experience.

  • 8-12 years of experience in marketing, campaigns management or external affairs.

  • Exceptional writing, editing and storytelling skills.

  • Proven experience leading campaigns in complex, regulated industries.

  • Experience translating complex or technical subject matter into clear, engaging content for external audiences.

  • Strong understanding of social media strategy, digital channels, content development and performance measurement for corporate brands and executives.

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, including marketing, public policy, legal, regional leadership and executive stakeholders.

  • Data center, digital infrastructure, real estate, energy, technology or similarly complex industry experience preferred.

  • Strong project management skills and ability to operate effectively in a matrixed, global organization.

  • Travel required is expected to be 5 to 10%, generally traveling to other Vantage offices/data centers.

  • Travel may increase over time as the business evolves.

Additional Details

  • Salary Range: $165,000-$185,000 + Bonus (this range is based on Colorado market data and may vary in other locations)

  • This position is eligible for company benefits including but not limited to medical, dental, and vision coverage, life and AD&D, short and long-term disability coverage, paid time off, employee assistance, participation in a 401k program that includes company match, and many other additional voluntary benefits.

  • Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including your qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
