Job Title: Vice President, Industry Relations & Advisory Board Location: United States, Remote Reports To: Chief Strategy Officer Short Description We are looking for a strategic and execution-focused Vice President, Industry Relations & Advisory Board to lead Majesco's global industry analyst relations, key industry organizations, and advisory boards across the insurance, Insurtech, and Retirement & Pension ecosystems. This leader will lead and elevate Industry Analyst Relations, deepen relationships with key industry organizations, partners and influencers, and drive advisory board initiatives to influence a view of where the industry is heading, what needs to change, and our market leadership. Position Summary Majesco is seeking a strategic and market-savvy Vice President of Analyst Relations & Advisory Board to lead and elevate our analyst relations function across the insurance and retirement & pension market and technology landscape. This leader will own and strengthen relationships with a growing portfolio of industry analysts, advisory firms, and industry organizations to shape market direction and perception, shape their strategic and tactical focus, amplify Majesco's differentiated value, and influence how our products and innovations are positioned, viewed and recognized across the industry. This role requires deep experience in working with and managing analyst firms, industry organizations and other Insurtech entities both strategically and tactically to influence and build high-impact strategies that reshape their views and approaches regarding the technology needed in the market. Strong knowledge of the property and casualty (P&C), life, accident and health (L&AH) insurance markets, and/or retirement & pension markets is crucial. In addition, they will provide support based on Industry Analyst reports and data to assess potential M&A targets. This role will work closely with the Chief Strategy Officer to shape, manage and engage Advisory Boards for P&C, L&AH and Retirement & Pension, leveraging industry influencers and leaders along with customer executives to engage them on the industry direction, challenges, opportunities and where strategically Majesco can expand or strengthen our offerings, services and focus. The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on, capable of driving long-term industry analyst engagement programs while also executing briefings, inquiries, research participation, advisory board engagement, competitive positioning, industry awards, and internal counsel for executives, product leaders and sales leaders. The Vice President of Analyst Relations will serve as a critical bridge across strategy, product, marketing, strategy, sales, and executive leadership to ensure Majesco is effectively positioned as a leading thought leader and innovator in core systems, data, analytics, AI, and digital transformation. Key Responsibilities
- Deepen and expand strategic relationships with industry analysts, advisory board partners, Insurtech influencers, and industry organizations
- Serve as a visible Majesco spokesperson and thought leader with the market, supporting executive keynotes, panels, and media/analyst engagements.
- Partner closely with executive leadership to shape and refine strategic messaging, market narratives, and solution positioning based on industry analyst, advisory board, industry organization and InsurTech ecosystem engagement and feedback
- Manage Majesco's participation in analyst advisory boards, councils, strategic sessions, analyst events, and related thought leadership opportunities to elevate market value
Analyst Relations
- Build, manage, and deepen relationships with a broad portfolio of analyst partners across insurance, technology, core systems, data, AI, and adjacent markets
- Create and execute a proactive engagement plan including briefings, inquiries, demos, research participation, event meetings, strategy days, and follow-up programs that increase Majesco's visibility and influence to position Majesco solutions as leaders.
- Lead preparation for analyst evaluations, market guides, vendor assessments, profiles, and other research processes as well as monthly communications including quality submissions for analyst research, ensuring strong storytelling, proof points, differentiation, and alignment to Majesco strategy
- Translate analyst insights and feedback and counsel executives, product leaders and GTM teams on market trends, competitive insights, and perception gaps that shape actionable recommendations for messaging, product strategy, portfolio positioning, product launches, and go-to-market planning
- Support competitive intelligence efforts by capturing and synthesizing analyst perspectives on Majesco and our products to provide a broader market / influencer competitive landscape
- Track and report on analyst interactions, outcomes, research opportunities, perceptions, and strategic follow-up actions
- Proactively identify new areas for industry analyst assessments and work with them to bring to fruition to the benefit of Majesco
Advisory Board & Industry Organizations
- Working with the CSO and executives, plan, engage, and maximize opportunities for advisory board engagement that strengthen our strategy, products and analyst views
- Build and deepen relationships with industry organizations like AM Best, ACORD, NAMIC, MGAA, LIMRA, NPERS, NAIC, etc. to shape their strategic view and strengthen Majesco position by actively engaging them through our leadership content, webinars, and speaking
- Identify and execute on submission of industry awards such as InsurTech 100, industry analysts, FinTech 100, and others to gain market recognition
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Business, Insurance, or related field required
- MBA or advanced degree preferred
- 5+ years of analyst relations experience, with meaningful responsibility managing analyst firm relationships, briefings, and research participation
- Experience in InsurTech, insurance software, or insurance services strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of P&C, L&AH and Retirement & Pension insurance markets, including industry trends, core systems, operations, and market dynamics
- Proven success building trusted relationships with major industry analyst firms, industry organizations, and advisory organizations
- Experience supporting analyst evaluations, MQ-style assessments, market reports, vendor profiles, and advisory engagements
- Strong executive communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
- Excellent writing skills with experience creating compelling submissions, briefing materials, talking points, and market-facing narratives
- Strong strategic thinking combined with the ability to execute at a detailed level
- Ability to synthesize complex market, product, and competitive information into clear business recommendations
- Experience working cross-functionally with product, marketing, sales, strategy, and executive teams
- Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
Preferred Experience
- Experience in insurance core platforms, underwriting, policy, billing, claims, distribution, digital, analytics, and AI-related solutions
- Familiarity with firms such as Gartner, Celent, Datos Insights, Everest Group, Aite/Novarica, IDC, and other relevant insurance and technology analysts
- Familiarity with industry organizations such as NAIC, AM Best, ACORD, etc.
- Experience supporting company growth initiatives, category creation, portfolio expansion, acquisitions, or strategic market repositioning
- Background in product marketing, analyst relations, corporate strategy, competitive intelligence, or executive communications is a plus
