The School of Kinesiology is hiring:

Job Duties Responsibilities:

Support academic and/or research initiatives of the department (100%)

• Work with faculty and staff on various teaching and research projects.
• Use computer software programs such as Microsoft Office, Google Suite, University Box, Canvas, Adobe Acrobat.
• Comply with university required policies and procedures and complete required trainings as necessary.
• Meet with the manager as needed, online as well as in-person.

This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Required Qualifications:

• PhD in Kinesiology or related field.
• Ability to communicate with manager and team members over email, phone, and/or videoconference.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with people from a variety of communities, backgrounds, and identities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Work experience as staff researcher in the area of rehabilitation science or clinical movement science.
• Certification to operate a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanner.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to process and analyze MRI data.
• Ability to process behavioral and clinical outcome measures.

The School of Kinesiology focuses on the biological, developmental, social, and behavioral bases of physical activity, recreation, sport and human performance through its programs in kinesiology, recreation and leisure students, and sport studies. The degree programs in the School prepare students for a variety of professional opportunities in both the public and private sector. The fields of teaching, community service, allied health, industry and business are career paths that graduates of our programs may anticipate as avenues of employment and further professional training.

Pay Range: $40 - $55/hour; depending on education/qualifications/experience.
