As a Collector, you'll be the steady, solutionsdriven voice helping Members navigate financial challenges. You'll monitor delinquent accounts, offer thoughtful guidance, and help Members regain financial stability-all while protecting the credit union's loan portfolio.

Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, start time is between 9:00-10:00 a.m. and end time is between 5:30-6:30 p.m. Exact schedule to be discussed and agreed upon during the interview.

New hires may qualify for a $500 hiring bonus.

Key Job Functions:

• Delinquent account outreach - Monitor pastdue loans and connect with Members consistently and compassionately.
• Financial counseling - Provide personalized solutions that strengthen Members' financial wellbeing.
• Payment processing - Post delinquent loan payments accurately and in line with policy.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Education - High School Diploma or equivalent; relevant experience may substitute.
• Experience - One to three years of similar or related experience; preferably in a credit union, financial institution, or call center.
• Communication - Clear, confident communication with a Memberfirst mindset.
• Multitasking - Ability to juggle priorities in a fastpaced environment.
• Policy & legal document skills - Comfortable interpreting garnishments, judgments, and bankruptcy filings.
• Physical Requirements - Must be able to push, pull, or lift up to 50 lbs., as needed, and requires extended periods of sitting and/or standing and to be able to use PC, copier, scanner, fax, etc.
