The Associate Process Engineer is a key member of the Chromalloy New York Engineering Organization, responsible for supporting the maintenance, repair, overhaul (MRO), production, and development of high-pressure turbine airfoils, duct segments, and related aerospace engine components. This role combines product engineering expertise with advanced manufacturing and automation initiatives to improve repair processes, increase operational efficiency, and support strategic engine programs. The engineer will provide technical support for repair operations by reviewing engine manuals and technical data, developing and implementing repair procedures, and driving continuous improvement initiatives through automation and advanced manufacturing technologies. This position offers hands-on exposure to manufacturing processes, automation systems, robotics, controls, data acquisition, and system integration while working closely with experienced engineering and operations teams. Must be willing to work onsite in Orangeburg, NY. No work from home option available. This position may require work hours outside of the regularly scheduled hours to meet operational needs. This may include work during evenings, weekends, and/or holidays. Additional work hours are assigned based on business requirements. Non-exempt employees will be paid overtime in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws. The salary range for this position reflects a broad spectrum of experience levels. Individual compensation within the range is determined by multiple factors, including relevant experience, education, certifications, job related skills, internal equity, and market conditions. We evaluate each candidate individually to ensure fair and competitive pay decisions.
