We're looking for a skilled Grinding Machinist to machine, repair, and finish critical aerospace components to precise specifications. In this hands-on role, you'll operate CNC and manual grinding equipment, inspect your work, and ensure every part meets the highest standards for quality, safety, and performance.


Shift: Monday-Friday (Days may fluctuate due to business needs, Monday-Sunday) | 3:00 PM-11:30 PM
Shift Differential: $1-$3/hour based on assigned workdays
Sign-On Bonus: $1,000


What You'll Do:

  • Set up and operate CNC and manual grinding equipment
  • Machine and repair precision aerospace components to close tolerances
  • Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings
  • Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, pi tapes, and other precision measuring tools
  • Change tooling and adjust machine feeds and speeds as needed
  • Perform routine equipment maintenance and complete inspection documentation
  • Operate overhead cranes and safely handle parts and materials
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area
  • Support continuous improvement and quality initiatives


What We're Looking For:

  • Machining experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience operating grinding equipment preferred
  • Ability to read blueprints and understand GD&T
  • Proficiency using precision measuring instruments
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and math skills
  • Ability to work independently with attention to detail
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement

This position may require work hours outside of the regularly scheduled hours to meet operational needs. This may include work during evenings, weekends, and/or holidays. Additional work hours are assigned based on business requirements. Non-exempt employees will be paid overtime in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.


The salary range for this position reflects a broad spectrum of experience levels. Individual compensation within the range is determined by multiple factors, including relevant experience, education, certifications, job related skills, internal equity, and market conditions. We evaluate each candidate individually to ensure fair and competitive pay decisions.
