Cardiology Scheduling Coordinator

At Regions Hospital, exceptional patient care starts long before a patient sees their provider. As a Cardiology Scheduling Coordinator, you'll play an important role in creating a positive experience by welcoming patients, visitors, and employees. The Cardiology Scheduling Coordinator will coordinate appointments, verifies insurance, checks in patients for appointments, and manages patient reception.

Work Schedule: Varying schedule Monday through Friday during call center hours 8am to 5pm.

Required Qualifications:

• Two years of experience in a direct customer/patient service position.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Graduate of a formal training program in medical reception or customer service or equivalent.
• Experience in a healthcare setting.
• Experience with an electronic medical record system, preferably Epic.
