Electric Supply Center (ESC)/NorthEast Electrical is seeking a Full-time, Counter Sales Support Specialist to join our team in Woburn, MA!

Hours:Monday-Friday 8AM to 5PM

Salary: $20 to $25 per hour

The Counter Sales Support Specialist plays a critical role in supporting customer will-call operations at the Woburn Branch and Woburn CDC. This position serves as a primary point of contact for customers picking up orders and is responsible for delivering exceptional customer experience through accurate, efficient, and professional service.

The ideal candidate possesses strong customer service skills, knowledge of electrical products, proficiency in Eclipse, and the ability to collaborate effectively with sales and operations teams to ensure customers receive complete and accurate orders in a timely manner.

What a day in this role looks like:



  • Greet customers and assist with will-call pickups from the Woburn Branch and other branch locations.
  • Retrieve and stage materials from the will-call area for customer pickup.
  • Assist customers with loading products into trucks, vans, and other vehicles as needed.
  • Process order modifications, including adding, changing, or removing items from customer tickets.
  • Process customer returns and issue credits accurately and efficiently.
  • Utilize Eclipse software to manage customer transactions and order updates.
  • Coordinate closely with branch sales personnel, warehouse, and CDC operations teams to ensure order accuracy and completeness.
  • Resolve customer inquiries professionally and with a strong service-oriented mindset.
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient will-call area.
  • Support branch and warehouse operations as required to meet customer needs.

  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Working knowledge of electrical products and industry terminology.
  • Proficiency with Eclipse ERP software.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to collaborate with multiple departments to achieve customer satisfaction.
  • Reliable, professional, and solution-oriented approach to customer interactions.


Physical Requirements



  • Ability to lift, move, and transport electrical products, including wire, conduit, pipe, boxes, and other materials.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks throughout the workday.
  • Ability to safely assist customers with loading materials into vehicles
