What to Expect The Workplace Specialist supports the planning, execution, and maintenance of Tesla's workplace environments across the Los Angeles region. This role ensures operational continuity, safety compliance, and high-quality standards across office and facility spaces. Responsibilities include managing repair and maintenance programs, supporting facility upgrades and commissioning, conducting site inspections, and coordinating with vendors and internal stakeholders. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. What You'll Do Manage repair and maintenance programs across multiple sites, including work order tracking, invoice review, and documentation management to ensure timely resolution of facility issues Conduct regular site walks and facility audits to assess conditions, identify deficiencies, and draft corrective action task lists Manage relationships with third-party vendors, suppliers, and property management teams to ensure service level agreements and Tesla standards are consistently met Assist in the commissioning of new facilities and implementation of upgrades, supporting project timelines, scope adherence, and cost management Uphold Tesla's workplace standards for organization, cleanliness, and safety, ensuring all activities align with EHS protocols and company policies Utilize internal ticketing systems to manage service requests, track resolution progress, and maintain high customer satisfaction across all workplace support interactions Perform site visits across the Los Angeles area and support occasional domestic travel up to 25% based on business needs What You'll Bring Degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, or equivalent experience 2+ years of experience in facilities operations, workplace services, project coordination, or a related administrative or operational role Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and document management tools; experience with BlueBeam Revu is a plus Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with minimal guidance Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and leadership levels Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record required for regional site travel Ability to adapt to shifting business priorities and support evolving operational and location-based needs across the NAM Energy Workplace Team Compensation and Benefits Benefits Along with competitive pay, as a full-time Tesla employee, you are eligible for the following benefits at day 1 of hire: Medical plans > plan options with $0 payroll deduction Family-building, fertility, adoption and surrogacy benefits Dental (including orthodontic coverage) and vision plans, both have options with a $0 paycheck contribution Company Paid (Health Savings Accounts) HSA Contribution when enrolled in the High-Deductible medical plan with HSA Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) 401(k) with employer match, Employee Stock Purchase Plans, and other financial benefits Company paid Basic Life, AD&D Short-term and long-term disability insurance (90 day waiting period) Employee Assistance Program Sick and Vacation time (Flex time for salary positions, Accrued hours for Hourly positions), and Paid Holidays Back-up childcare and parenting support resources Voluntary benefits to include: critical illness, hospital indemnity, accident insurance, theft & legal services, and pet insurance Weight Loss and Tobacco Cessation Programs Tesla Babies program Commuter benefits Employee discounts and perks program Expected Compensation $72,200 - $148,200/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
