Description

Catholic Charities Maine is seeking a reliable, outgoing, and mission-driven CSFP Project Administrator to lead the Commodity Supplemental Food Program serving Aroostook County. This position plays an important role in helping older adults and community members access supplemental food resources through strong program coordination, accurate reporting, and responsive communication with consumers, pantry partners, and community sites.

The CSFP Project Administrator will oversee the day-to-day administration of the Commodity Supplemental Food Program in Aroostook County. The role is responsible for meeting state contract requirements, tracking required program metrics, coordinating food distribution activities, communicating with community partners and pantry distribution sites, and completing required food donation and distribution reports. This position can be performed approximately 90% remotely, with limited travel throughout Aroostook County.


What You'll Do

  • Manage the CSFP program in accordance with state contract requirements and deliverables.
  • Accurately and timely track required data metrics using program software and Microsoft Office products.
  • Serve as a main point of contact for consumers, community partners, pantry distribution sites, and the public by phone, text, and email.
  • Answer the CSFP public phone line, assist callers, and refer individuals to appropriate staff or resources when needed.
  • Coordinate and support food delivery and distribution activities on scheduled distribution days across Aroostook County.
  • Complete monthly Feeding America food distribution reports and weekly retail food donation pick-up reports.
  • Provide respectful, thorough customer service, including when callers need services outside of the CSFP program.
  • Work independently and effectively with limited day-to-day oversight.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience working with people from diverse backgrounds.
  • Experience with data management, documentation, reporting, or similar administrative responsibilities.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office products.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to respond professionally to questions, needs, and concerns.
  • Ability to multitask, stay organized, and follow through on program requirements.
  • Reliable, friendly, outgoing, and comfortable taking initiative
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
