* Base Pay Range: $99,174 - $161,720 per year, based on experience

MU Health Care is looking for a Nurse Practice Manager to lead Infusion Services across both Ellis Fischel Cancer Center and Keene Street Medical Center Infusion units. DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION

* Creates a high-performing team by interviewing, selecting, training, evaluating, coaching, counseling, disciplining, and leading staff within assigned areas of responsibility.

* Assists with the development, administration, and achievement of the budget and financial targets of the assigned clinic(s). Identifies and supports opportunities to grow clinics and services as they arise.

* Achieves and maintains high patient satisfaction by fostering a culture of YES, investigating and responding to patient concerns, and following up on satisfaction survey results.

* Achieves and maintains high staff engagement by leading, developing, and supporting a high-performing team and identifying opportunities for staff growth.

* Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to identify and implement improvements to processes, workflows, systems, and services within assigned areas.

* Communicates consistently with staff to ensure all are informed of goals, expectations, policy and procedure changes, and relevant organizational activities. Ensures timely delivery of patient services through enhancements in patient access and flow.

* Establishes, maintains, and monitors staffing levels, productivity, and throughput. Confers with dyad partners, assigned supervisors, departmental leadership, and practice physicians to resolve operational issues and promote excellence in care delivery.

* Coordinates and directs the development of procedures for assigned areas that align with established MU Health Care policies.

* Develops and produces monthly practice activity reports related to clinical, financial, and operational performance. Represents the assigned area as requested by leadership.

* Leads a culture of safety through proactive risk mitigation and continuous quality improvement, taking measures to evaluate regulatory readiness routinely. Monitors and analyzes safety and performance metrics to identify trends and implement corrective actions for staff and/or patients as appropriate.

* Develops, coordinates, and maintains daily staffing schedules to ensure the appropriate level of unit coverage and continuity of care. Monitors time and attendance in alignment with MU Health Care policies and practices, ensuring accuracy of records and timely submittal/approval for payroll purposes.

* May complete unit/department-specific: duties as outlined in department documents.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

* Knowledge of unit workflows, policies, and procedures to manage daily operations, maintain standards, and support quality improvement.

* Applies leadership and interpersonal skills to supervise staff, foster collaboration, and drive accountability and service excellence.

* Uses foundational budgeting and compliance skills to manage resources, support survey readiness, and ensure regulatory adherence.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

* Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree.

* Five (5) years of related experience.

* One (1) year of supervisory experience.

* Missouri Board of Nursing RN or Nurse Licensure Compact multi-state RN. When the primary state of residency changes, compact state RNs must apply under the new state of residency within thirty (30) days.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

* Master's degree in business or healthcare administration.

* Experience in infusion services strongly preferred.

* Experience in a medical practice or ambulatory care experience.

* Experience with finance, budgets and process improvement strongly preferred.

* Additional license/certification requirements as determined by the hiring department.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met with or without reasonable accommodation. The performance of these physical demands is an essential function of the job. This position is very active and requires ambulating, reaching, and moving objects weighing up to and over 20 lbs.

This role also routinely comes into contact with patients who may have contagious illnesses. This position is in a health care facility open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Rotating shifts as well as holiday and work during inclement weather will be required.
