Clinical Curriculum Coordinator - School of Social Work

Curriculum Development and
Program Leadership
* Serve as the lead SME for clinical
curriculum development across PATH initiatives.
* Coordinate the development, review,
revision, and implementation of clinical training curricula for synchronous
and asynchronous learning environments.
* Ensure consistency and fidelity of
curriculum content related to TCOM, CANS, SOC principles, trauma-informed
care, assessment, care planning, and other behavioral health initiatives.
* Collaborate with PATH leadership, CQR
teams, and program stakeholders to identify curriculum needs and prioritize
training development.
* Oversee Training of Trainers (TOT)
programs and the development of supporting instructional materials.
* Ensure curriculum products meet
accessibility standards.
* Coordinate curriculum review processes and
incorporate evaluation findings into continuous improvement efforts.

Training Delivery and
Workforce Development
* Facilitate Training of Trainers/Feedback
sessions and model effective instructional strategies for staff and
providers.
* Schedule, coordinate, and lead training
sessions to support staff skill development and curriculum mastery.
* Provide coaching and consultation on
training facilitation, curriculum implementation, and transfer of learning
strategies.
* Support providers in identifying
agency-specific implementation challenges and developing practical strategies
to support successful program implementation.
* Evaluate participant learning outcomes and
training effectiveness to inform future training design and continuous
improvement efforts.

Staff Leadership,
Mentorship, and Oversight
* Provide leadership, mentorship, and
day-to-day guidance to specialist staff engaged in curriculum development and
training activities.
* Coordinate and monitor curriculum-related
assignments, timelines, and deliverables.
* Observe training facilitation and mock
practice sessions and document strengths, areas for improvement, and
recommendations.
* Provide coaching and developmental
feedback to support staff performance and professional growth.
* Participate in interviewing, onboarding,
and evaluation processes for specialist-level positions.
* Foster collaboration, communication,
accountability, and continuous quality improvement among curriculum and
training staff.
* Serve as a resource to PATH leadership on
staff development needs and curriculum implementation challenges.

Quality Improvement and
Stakeholder Collaboration
* Collaborate with CQR team to develop
standardized processes for training, coaching, and curriculum development
processes.
* Monitor curriculum implementation and
training outcomes to support quality, consistency, and alignment with program
goals.
* Analyze training feedback and performance
data to recommend curriculum enhancements and process improvements.
* Maintain collaborative relationships with
state agencies, providers, SME's, and community stakeholders.
* Participate in cross-functional
workgroups, committees, and project teams to support PATH initiatives.

Other Duties
* Travel throughout Illinois, as needed, to
provide training, coaching, technical assistance, and program support.
* Participate in special projects and other
duties as assigned.

Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Human Services, Education, Public Health, or closely related field from an accredited college or university.
Minimum three (3) years of behavioral health, clinical services, or human services experience. Minimum two (2) years of curriculum development, training, coaching, workforce development, or instructional design experience. Experience facilitating training for adult learners. Experience developing synchronous and asynchronous training materials. Illinois clinical licensure required. LPHA status pursuant to 89 ILAC 140.453. IM+CANS Trainer Certification within 90 days of hire. System of Care (SOC) Trainer Certification within 120 days of hire.

Experience with TCOM, CANS, ANSA, FAST, CSPI, or related assessment frameworks. Experience developing e-learning content and blended learning programs. Experience utilizing PowerPoint, Asana, Vyond, Visio, Slido, Articulate, Canva, Learning Management Systems, or similar instructional technologies. Experience leading training teams, coordinating curriculum projects, or providing staff coaching and mentorship. Experience working with Medicaid-funded behavioral health programs and provider networks.

Knowledge of adult learning theory, instructional design, coaching methodologies, and transfer of learning practices. Knowledge of Systems of Care principles, trauma-informed practices, child and adolescent development, and behavioral health service delivery systems. Knowledge of curriculum development standards, accessibility requirements, and quality improvement processes. Ability to lead multiple curriculum projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and program deliverables. Ability to coach, mentor, and support staff development. Strong facilitation and presentation kills. Ability to analyze training data and implement quality improvement strategies. Excellent organizational, and interpersonal communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and virtual training platforms. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a complex, fast-paced environment.
