Join our team This role is part of the IET HQ Strategy team and is a high-impact, high-visibility role supporting critical decisions across the IET business and Baker Hughes. You will provide unbiased strategic insight, market intelligence, and competitive analysis to inform leadership priorities and long-term growth. Partner with the Best The key responsibility of the Strategy Senior Advisor role is to lead strategic initiatives across the IET Business Segment. The position is crucial to the business segment's ability to establish its medium, and long-term plans in a highly dynamic industry. The Strategy team with the Senior Advisor playing a key role, is responsible for the development and oversight of 5 Individual Business Units (BUs) strategies to support growth objectives, as well as playing a key role in the overall IET strategy formulation, collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders and leading cross-functional teams in the development of operational strategies. You will be responsible for: Bringing together crucial pieces of information such as competitor performance, operational performance, innovations, customer intelligence, etc., from various internal and external sources to develop strategic options and layout the strategic roadmaps for the BUs and IET overall Supporting the strategic planning process (LRP) to ensure that this process is timely, focused, and value added Work with Corporate HQ, including Growth & Experience (GX), FP&A, Corporate Development and Investor Relations Support IET Leadership team presentations including BoD meetings, IET Leadership Forum, and other external presentation Manage analyses that will provide valuable benchmarking for management as well as timely insights to various departments Develop strategic threat identification and evaluation processes as well as overseeing their adoption Other tasks as identified by the IET Strategy Director To be successful in this role you will: Degree in Marketing, Finance, Economics or Engineering, or related discipline Relevant experience in strategy, consulting or marketing Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Proven ability to structure ambiguity into clear insights and recommendations Strong communication and storytelling skills, with experience preparing executive-level materials Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously Ability to quickly build a strong understanding of the full IET portfolio and develop relationships with the key stakeholders across that portfolio Advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and data/AI tools Work in a way that works for you We recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too. Additional elected or voluntary benefits Italy: The initial pay range for this position will be EUR 72,000 To 99,000.
