To Provide Legal Counsel And Advice To The Corporation And Its Subsidiaries To Ensure Their Effective Operation In Accordance With Federal, State And Local Laws. Performs other duties as assigned.

Juris Doctorate Degree From An A.B.A. Accredited Law School. Admission To The Bar Required Within Six (6) Months Of Employment. Superior Academic Record. Experience And Demonstrated Competency In Relevant Area Of Law Preferred. Excellent Research And Writing Skills. Strong Negotiation, Human Relations And Communication Skills.

Minimum 2 years attorney experience preferred
This position is in the Contractor Model Group within FedEx Ground's Legal Division. In addition to defending and perfecting the contractor model, key responsibilities include drafting contract language, interpreting contract provisions, and providing practical, solutions-based advice and guidance designed to mitigate legal risk to key FedEx Ground departments. Previous transportation, contract administration and drafting, and/or labor and employment experience preferred, but not necessary. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic, fun, fast-paced team.

Additional Details: This position will be hybrid in Pittsburgh, PA and candidates must live withina 50-mile radius. Employees will be required to work at a FedEx office location up to several times per week. Level of hire (and compensation) is based on years of experience.
