A Small Tool/ Engine Mechanic inspects, maintains, and repairs handheld power devices, construction tools, and motorized equipment (chainsaws, generators, Plate Tamps ). Responsibilities include diagnosing mechanical issues, replacing faulty parts, and performing routine maintenance to ensure tools run efficiently, safely, and are ready for daily use.
Paint Small tools, repair, and paint panels on equipment with proper techniques and safety standards

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Diagnostics, Ability to identify Mechanical, Electrical, or hydraulic issues with equipment.
  • Repair or replace defective/broken parts and reassemble to manufacture specs.
  • Maintain tools to be sure all inventory is ready to use at any given time.
  • Proper Surface prep of painting Area (Clean, Sand, Strip, Mask).
  • Proper mixing technique of Primers/Paints/Clear coats.
  • Properly Clean work tools and Area once Finished

  • Maintain a positive working relationship between co-workers and employees of subcontractors, vendors, inspectors and agency individuals working on a Crisdel job site.

  • Be self-motivated and ambitious.
  • Be able to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Report to work on time, take meal breaks only during the allocated time periods and report back to work until the end of the designated shift.
Qualifications:
  • Understanding of 2 and 4 cycle engines.
  • Ability to use power tools and operate the tools being worked on.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and to also lift 50 lbs. or more.
  • Attention to detail and cleanliness.
  • Ability to match and mix colors accurately.
