As a Security Officer Access Control in Marco Island, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. Join Allied Universal at a premier resort location as an Access Control Officer, where you will monitor entry points, verify badges and credentials, and support a welcoming guest experience. In this role, you will remain visible to help deter security-related incidents while providing strong customer service and clear communication. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to residents, guests, visitors, and staff by following site-specific procedures for access control, visitor screening, and other security-related activities at the location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, permissions, and deliveries, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted or private areas.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and urgent situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with property management and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the property, amenities, and perimeter to observe conditions, report unusual activity, and support security-related policies.
• Maintain accurate logs, reports, and pass-down information related to visitor activity, access events, incidents, and/or property concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfortable use of a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
