Position Overview:

The Account Manager, Contract Manufacturing owns the relationship and commercial performance for a portfolio of key contract manufacturing accounts. As the primary point of contact between the customer and internal operations, this role translates customer needs into aligned production, quality, and delivery outcomes while identifying opportunities for account growth. Success requires strong customer relationships, close coordination with operations, quality, and planning teams, and a consistent record of delivering superior service alongside revenue and margin targets.

Travel Requirement: Travel is required based on customer needs and business objectives.

Responsibilities:

* Relationship Management - Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts; build trusted, unilateral relationships with customer stakeholders; run regular business reviews to align on performance, priorities, and upcoming needs.

* Forecasting - Own the demand forecasting process for each account, collaborating with the customer and internal planning/supply chain teams to ensure production schedules and capacity align with projected volumes; flag and resolve forecast variances proactively.

* Material & Inventory Management - Monitor raw material and finished goods inventory levels against customer requirements and safety stock targets; partner with procurement and planning to prevent stockouts, excess inventory, and obsolescence risk.

* New Item Expansion - Lead the commercial process for new product introductions and line extensions within existing accounts, coordinating specs, costing, and timelines with R&D, quality, and operations to bring new items to market on schedule.

* Quality Management - Act as the customer's escalation point for quality concerns; partner with the quality team on complaint resolution, corrective actions, and audit readiness; ensure customer specifications and compliance requirements are consistently met.

* Customer Project Oversight - Oversee execution of customer-driven projects (e.g., packaging changes, capacity expansions, cost-savings initiatives), partnering with and directing support from a Program Manager to keep projects on time, on budget, and aligned to customer expectations.

* Revenue Performance - Own the relationship for the account portfolio, driving revenue growth and defending margin through pricing discipline, contract adherence, and identification of efficiency or cost-reduction opportunities.

* Cross-Functional Coordination - Serve as the internal voice of the customer, working closely with operations, planning, quality, and finance to ensure the organization delivers on commitments made to the account.

* Customer Compliance: Ensure adherence to customer compliance requirements, working closely with relevant teams to maintain standards and address any issues.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or a related field, required.

* 5+ years of experience in customer success, or a related role.

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights clearly to diverse stakeholders. Strong listening skills to engage and support external customers professionally.

* Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

* Passion for improving customer experiences and a deep understanding of customer needs and behaviors.

* High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data analysis and reporting.

Hours, Location and Pay:

We offer a competitive base pay rate and comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees. This role works standard business hours Monday - Friday at our Little Chute, WI manufacturing facility.

* While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, hear, use hands to type data, use a personal computer and telephone. This employee may occasionally have to operate business machines and lift and/move up to 50 pounds.
