The Departments of Anesthesiology and Surgery at the University of Virginia (UVA) School of Medicine are seeking applications for a Digital Media Coordinator to support the departments' communications, marketing, and digital engagement efforts. Working under the direction of the Communications Manager, the Digital Media Coordinator will assist with the development, production, and distribution of digital content that supports the departments' strategic communications goals across social media, web, and email platforms. The successful candidate will be expected to:
Qualified candidates must have a bachelor's degree with one year of relevant experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong written and visual communication skills and experience creating content for digital platforms. Experience with social media management, graphic design, website editing, and photography is preferred. Preferred qualifications include:
Minimum Requirements: Education: Bachelor's degree. Experience: One year of relevant communications, marketing, digital media, or related experience. The anticipated hiring range is $50,000 - $65,000 annually, commensurate with experience and subject to internal equity, market review, job profile alignment, and applicable approvals. This position will remain open until filled. This is an exempt level, benefited position.
