Overview The Domestic Agent II supports the coordination and execution of domestic air and ground freight shipments while providing reliable service to both internal and external customers. This role is responsible for handling daytoday shipment activities, including quoting, routing, tracking, and documentation, with a strong focus on accuracy and timely communication. The Domestic Agent II works closely with carriers, vendors, and customers to ensure shipments move efficiently and issues are resolved promptly Responsibilities
Quoting, tracking and tracing domestic freight shipments moving via air/ground on a daily basis. Track overhead shipments daily and route accordingly
Qualifications Education * High School Diploma or GED (required) * Some College/Associate's Degree or equivalent () Experience * 3+ years Freight Forwarding experience (required) * 5+ years (preferred) * 1+ years Intermediate knowledge of IATA and TSA regulations. (required) and * 1+ years SAP and AS400 experience (preferred) Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities * Microsoft Office * Basic knowledge of IATA and TSA regulations * Mist be able to work in a deadline driven and fast-paced, high volume work environment * Must have excellent organizational skills and be detailed oriented * Must have the ability to be a team player and support teammates * Must have the ability to work independently Licenses and Certifications * Dangerous Goods Certification Upon Hire (preferred) About AIT Worldwide AIT Worldwide Logistics is a global freight forwarder that helps companies grow by expanding access to markets all over the world where they can sell and/or procure their raw materials, components and finished goods.
